CANADIAN OWNERSHIP RETURNS TO ECLIPSE IMAGING WITH MANAGEMENT BUYOUT
Eclipse Colour and Imaging Corp. (Eclipse Imaging) has been purchased from its U.S. parent company Adams Outdoor Advertising, headquartered in Atlanta, GA by two of the company’s senior managers, Ralph Misale and Grant Malcolm. The Burlington, Ontario-based wide format printing company specializes in out-of-home advertising, transit printing, and in-store retail signage. The deal, made official in February, restores Canadian ownership at Eclipse Imaging after 11 years as a subsidiary of the American outdoor media company.
Misale and Malcolm were appointed co-General Managers of Eclipse Imaging in September 2009. “We are excited about the opportunity to lead Eclipse, not only as general managers, but now as owner-operators,” stated Misale, who has worked his way up the manufacturing and operations ranks since joining the company 14 years ago. “Feedback from staff, customers, and suppliers has been overwhelmingly positive and we are extremely optimistic about what the future holds,” he added. Misale assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer. Malcolm, the newly named Chief Financial Officer, has assumed responsibility for increasingly complex roles in finance and administration since he joined the company in 2002.
